DCON 2026

DIstrict convention 2026

Location: Charlotte Hilton University Place Hotel

Date: March 6-8, 2026

The District Convention (DCON) is the premier event of the Key Club year—three days of leadership development, service celebration, officer training, and district-wide connection. All clubs are highly encouraged to attend.

We are excited to announce that the DCON theme is Saddle Up for Service, a Western-inspired theme celebrating service and leadership. This theme was chosen in connection with this year’s International Convention being held in Dallas, Texas.

At this time, these are the confirmed event details. A comprehensive registration packet—including the full schedule, pricing, forms, deadlines, and additional theme information—will be released soon. Until then, please save the date and ensure your club begins preliminary planning.

What Clubs Should Do Now

  • Add the convention dates to your calendar

  • Begin tracking member interest and potential attendance

  • Start budgeting and/or fundraising

  • Monitor district communications for registration materials

What to Expect at DCON

DCON offers unforgettable experiences and meaningful opportunities for every member:

  • Engaging General Sessions that inspire service, leadership, and growth

  • The opportunity to run for District Office—interested members should review the Running for District Office page under the About Us tab on the district website

  • Club/member competitions and recognition opportunities, allowing both clubs and members to showcase their service, spirit, and achievements

  • An awards ceremony celebrating outstanding clubs, officers, and members from across the district

  • District-wide connection, giving members the chance to meet, learn from, and collaborate with Key Clubbers from all corners of our district
