District Editor - Gaby Tucker
Dear Carolinas Key Club District,
Hello, I’m Gaby Tucker and I am so thankful to be your 2019-2020 District Editor! Currently, I am a Junior at the North Carolina School of Science and Math (NCSSM) in Durham, NC. I joined Key Club in my freshman year (drawn by the free food offered at meetings), eager to meet new friends and learn more about service. My general idea of Key Club was based round stadium cleanups and appreciation card making, but I had no clue what leadership opportunities Key Club held! After going to the District Convention my freshman year, I was elected as my division’s Lieutenant Governor, and a year and a half later, I am proud to call myself your 2019-2020 District Editor.
As District Editor, my main roles include maintaining the District Website and Social Media, creating the seasonal Carolinas Blueprint, and helping all Lieutenant Governors with any publications, emails, and newsletters they wish to be edited. My primary goal is to help all Lieutenant Governors keep quality and frequent communication with their division by any and all means necessary, and by the end of my term, I want to inspire others to better understand efficient communication methods and their own style when it comes to writing and graphic design. I am also working hard to re-vamp our Spotlight on Service page, which has not gotten very much attention in the past few years. If your club has an amazing service project they would like to share, or if you want to know what Spotlight on Service is, please go to www.carolinaskeyclub.org/spotlight-on-service. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to this amazing organization!
